INDEPENDANT RIDERS

5th-12th graders can now compete in the ISHS either as a member of his/her school's team or as a single rider independently from his/her school. We remain committed to our founding principles and still encourage schools to have Equestrian Teams, but we are excited to providing students whose schools do not allow teams with the opportunity to participate in our series.

SHOW DATES

Varsity and JV shows will now be held on the same day. The Varsity and JV shows will still be considered separate shows, but they will now be held back-to-back on the same day. We feel that having all riders compete on the same day will make it easier for coaches and parents, and that having the whole team at the same same show will be more fun for the riders. We love team spirit, and now the whole team can be there to cheer each other on!

Everything will be the same as it had been, in terms of teams, points, ect., but now the two shows will be held back-to-back on the same day. The Varsity show will be held first and will start at 9:00 am. The JV show will begin immediately following the Varsity show. Classes will run in the order listed on the Prize List.  Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your class to check-in, and allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour for each division.

We still need one entry form per team for each Varsity show and a separate entry form for the JV show. Meaning that teams who have both Varsity and JV riders will need to turn in TWO entry forms per show date.

VARSITY DIVISIONS

We have also simplified the Varsity divisions by eliminating the Junior/ Senior and Middle School/ Freshman/ Sophomore categories. This means that all Varsity Advanced riders will compete in the Varsity Advanced division, and all Varsity Intermediate riders will compete in the Varsity Intermediate division-- regardless of the riders age/ grade level. Why? Because age is just a number-- it's your riding ability that's important!

SNOW DATES

Snow's a thing and we're ready for it! Snow dates are now listed on our show calendar for our winter horse shows. Snow date show locations will be the same as they were for the original show, and you do not need to turn in a new entry form for the snow date show if you already submitted one for the original show date. Click here to view our show calendar and snow dates.
